Welcome to Brian's Fishing Company

Whether it's Steelhead, Salmon or Trout, Brian Oldfield will provide you the trip your looking for. Starting in early September, we'll be targeting Fall Chinook and later on Silvers. This exciting fishery can run through December. Starting in December and running into mid-April I'll switch the gear over to Steelhead. Come mid-April to late June it's time to chase my favorite, the Spring Chinook. Trout can be anytime with Cutthroat being our main target in the rivers. I grew up along the Deschutes River near Tumwater so my fishing started early, by age 18 I was involved with deck handing on charter boats at Westport and soon was off to Alaska where I worked for Prince William Sound Aquaculture near Cordova doing fish hatchery technician work and of course, fishing in my off time.

I am a fully licensed Guide with the State of Washington and have been since 2002. Prior to guiding here in Washington I spent 4 years on the Nushagak River in Bristol Bay Alaska where I guided for King Salmon in one of the best fisheries on the planet.

I believe in the best equipment including a 2002 17' Willie built drift boat with heat of course, G. Loomis Rods and Penn International and Shimano Reels. When you fish with me, you will be fishing in style.

I am fully licensed, insured and CPR and first aid certified.
